In short: the federation's site uses no cookies. It only remembers your choice below, and Google maps and videos load only if you allow them.

Cookies are small files a site leaves in your browser, usually to recognise you on your next visit. Local storage (localStorage) is a similar mechanism, also used to keep information on your device.
The site sets no cookies at all. It uses local storage only for the things below, and what is kept there is never sent to us.

All of these are strictly necessary for something you asked for (keeping your choice, or staying signed in), so they need no consent.
We count visits without cookies and without keeping any identifier on your device. Your IP address is not kept; the details are in the Privacy policy.
The count can be switched off in the cookie settings. After that, your visits are not sent at all.
Some pages include content hosted by Google: the map of the federation's office on the Contact page, the hall maps on the club profiles, and YouTube videos in some news articles. These services receive your IP address and may set cookies of their own, under Google's rules.
That is why they do not load by themselves. A button appears in their place: you can load a single map or video, or allow them all in the cookie settings.
Videos use YouTube's “no-cookie” version (youtube-nocookie.com), which sets no cookies until you start playback.
The site's fonts are downloaded from Google Fonts. It sets no cookies, but it does receive your IP address.
