A Moldovan Table Tennis Federation delegation attends an international seminar in China on sporting cooperation and exchange
From 18 August to 10 September 2026 the Table Tennis Federation of the Republic of Moldova is taking part, in the People's Republic of China, in a seminar on promoting youth sporting exchange and cooperation with the countries of Central Asia.
The delegation is led by the federation's president, Mr Oleg Șaric, and includes the coaches of the Republic of Moldova's national squads — Natalia Prohorovici, Mihai Adam and Arsenii Iacubenco — together with Mr Victor Rauh, a member of the Ethics and Discipline Commission.
The delegation's participation is an important opportunity for the development of table tennis in the Republic of Moldova and for the exchange of experience with specialists from China and the other participating countries.
Given China's exceptional experience in table tennis, the programme offers a chance to learn modern methods of preparing players, developing coaches and organising the training process.
The seminar includes training sessions, professional meetings and visits to institutions and sports centres, allowing the delegation to see effective models for the preparation and development of table tennis.
At the same time it is a chance to establish new international contacts and partnerships, including for training camps, exchanges of experience and joint projects for players and coaches.
The federation intends to put the experience gained in China to use and pass it on to the national table tennis community, contributing to the development of players, coaches and the training system in the Republic of Moldova.
