World Table Tennis Day 2026
The Table Tennis Federation of the Republic of Moldova marked International Table Tennis Day (23 April) with pride — a special occasion for a sport that brings people together across the world, whatever their age, level or experience.
The day stands not only for competition but for friendship, inclusion and a shared passion for table tennis.
To mark it, a series of events celebrating and promoting this much-loved sport were held on 25–26 April 2026.
📍 In Bălți the competition was played in singles format, bringing together athletes from several generations:
➤ children (the 2013 and 2015 age groups)
➤ adults up to 59
➤ the 60–69 category
➤ the 70+ category
The atmosphere was full of energy, fair play and mutual respect, reflecting the core values of table tennis and strengthening the local sporting community.
📍 At the same time, in Chisinau, the final of the ATTP Super League, 2025–2026 season was held in partnership with ATTP, in team format. It was a symbolic moment, marking International Table Tennis Day with a high-level competition that brought together the strongest teams and produced a real sporting spectacle.
