for girls and boys born 2006 and younger, “U-19”, 2025
On 3–4 May the Republic of Moldova Championship for girls and boys born 2006 and younger, “U-19”, 2025 was held. It brought together 87 athletes from all over the Republic of Moldova. The national championship was fiercely contested and served as a qualifying competition for the European Junior and Cadet Championships in Ostrava, Czechia, on 11–20 July 2025.
The championship was held in Bălți. The athletes played in three events — singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
In the boys' singles this year's champion was Cozmolici Cezar (Chisinau), who met Cozma David (Cantemir) in the final. Cezar won comfortably, 3:0. In the match for bronze, Mandatari Nichita (Ungheni) met Spivacenco Gabriel (Chisinau). Nichita took a hard-earned 3:1 win.
In the girls' singles the matches were tighter and full of surprises. The final brought together Merenco Camelia (Chisinau) and Vieru Valeria (Bălți). Valeria won 3:1 and took the 2025 U-19 girls' title. Camelia is the current national senior champion. The surprise of the championship came in the bronze-medal match from Valeria Cravcenco of Chisinau, who met the more experienced Ecaterina Sireac of Dubăsari, bronze medallist at the senior championship in March 2025. Valeria took a fine 3:1 win and with it the bronze at the Republic of Moldova championship for girls born 2006 and younger. Valeria Cravcenco recently became champion of the Republic of Moldova in the U-15 age group.

3rd place – Nazariu Serghei – Mandatari Nichita (Ungheni)
Mixed doubles
1st place —Cozmolici Cezar–Merenco Camelia (Chisinau)
2nd place – Iacubenco Artemii – Vieru Valeria (Bălți)
3rd place – Barbu Denis – Sireac Ecaterina (Dubăsari)
