Republic of Moldova Championship for girls and boys born 2010 and younger, “U-15”, 2025
On 5–6 April the Republic of Moldova Championship for girls and boys born 2010 and younger, “U-15”, 2025 was held. Almost 160 children gathered from all over the Republic of Moldova. The national championship was fiercely contested and served as a qualifying competition for the European Junior and Cadet Championships in Ostrava, Czechia, on 11–20 July.
The opening of the championship was attended by the general director of the celebrated Italian table tennis club “TENNISTAVOLO CASTEL GOFFREDO”, Mr Sciannimanico Franco. The president of the Table Tennis Federation of the Republic of Moldova, Mr Ion Sarandi, presented our guest with a *Diploma of Honour* in recognition of his cooperation with the federation.
The championship was held in Chisinau. Our young athletes played in three events — singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
In the boys' singles this year's champion was Mișcișîn Andrei of Dubăsari, who won 3:2 in the final against Zgărdan Răzvan of Bălți. In the match for bronze, the young Bucur Nicolae of Chisinau met Graur Robert of Ungheni. With a 3:0 win Graur Robert took his place among the top three at the 2025 Republic of Moldova “U-15” Championship.
The girls' singles was no easier. The final brought together Cravcenco Valeria of Chisinau and Delev Andreea of Bălți. Cravcenco Valeria took a fine 3:2 win. Andreea had led 2:1 in sets and 10:6 — a painful match for her, in her second successive U-15 final. The bronze went to Avdarma with Anastasia Taucci, who played Mocrousov-Cuciuc Maria of Chisinau.

3rd place – Mișcișîn Andrei – Traci Serghei (Dubăsari)
Mixed doubles
1st place —Șargu David (Bălți) – Taucci Anastasia (Avdarma)
2nd place – Zgărdan Răzvan – Delev Andreea (Bălți)
3rd place – Mișcișîn Andrei (Dubăsari) – Mocrousov-Cuciuc Maria (Chisinau)
