A historic medal for the Republic of Moldova at the European U21 Championship
A remarkable result for Moldovan table tennis. Our player Alexandra Chiriacova has taken the bronze medal in the women's doubles at the European U21 Championship, held from 17 to 21 June 2026 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
With her partner Sara Tokic (Slovenia), Alexandra showed quality, character and an exceptional standard of play, reaching the podium at one of the most important continental competitions for young players.
This medal carries a particular significance: it is the first European honour of Alexandra's career at a competition of this scale, a result that confirms the talent, work and dedication invested over the years.
Sincere congratulations to Alexandra on this extraordinary achievement, which will remain written into the history of table tennis in the Republic of Moldova.
