Moldova makes its Olympic debut in table tennis
The first table tennis player in the history of the Olympic Games to represent Moldova, Vladislav Ursu, lost his opening match to the American Kanak Jha in the preliminary round and did not reach the last 32. The score was 5:11, 6:11, 5:11, 3:11. The match lasted 28 minutes.
The best results in the career of this pupil of Vladimir Semipeadnîi: second place at the 2022 European youth championships and fifth place at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games.
