The traditional “Bardar Commune Table Tennis Championship”
On 10 January 2026 the commune of Bardar successfully hosted the traditional “Bardar Commune Table Tennis Championship”, an event dedicated to promoting and developing table tennis locally.
The Table Tennis Federation of the Republic of Moldova was represented at the event by Mr Spartac CHILAT, the federation's secretary general, who offered sincere thanks to the organisers for their active and consistent part in developing the sport in the region.
One particularly welcome fact is that around 20 children in the region play table tennis actively, which is a very good example of involvement, continuity and investment in the future of our sport.
We thank the local authority for the support it gives young athletes, and assure it that the Table Tennis Federation of the Republic of Moldova will do everything it can to keep supporting them.
Our special thanks also to the “OLIMPICUL” Sports Club, which as it traditionally does brought sweets for the children, and smiles and joy to the participants.
