Beaten at the start, but there is a second chance

Vladislav Ursu of Chisinau and Alexandra Kiriakova of Dubăsari lost to their Turkish opponents at the start of the table tennis qualifying tournament for the Paris Olympic Games, held in Havířov, Czechia. The match swung back and forth. The Moldovan pair lost the first set, then went ahead 3:2, but lost in the end. The score was 3:4 (7:11, 11:9, 11:13, 11:8, 11:8, 6:11, 7:11).

Despite the defeat, Vladislav and Alexandra continue in the tournament, but now in a different draw. Today they have a second chance, against opponents from Czechia.
