A VISIT TO THE EMBASSY OF HUNGARY IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

On 1 July 2024 the president of the Table Tennis Federation of the Republic of Moldova, Mr Sarandi Ion, and its secretary general, Mrs Mocrousov Elena, visited the Embassy of Hungary in the Republic of Moldova (Chisinau), where they met the Ambassador of Hungary to the Republic of Moldova, Mr Sandor Szabo, and his guests Mr Imre Kovacsics, president of the Hungarian Table Tennis Federation, and Mrs Katalin Filipowicz, director of international relations of the Hungarian Table Tennis Federation.

The discussion covered cooperation between the table tennis federations of the Republic of Moldova and Hungary, the presidential elections at the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU), the development of table tennis in the Republic of Moldova, the promotion of young talent in Europe including the Republic of Moldova, current issues needing the attention of the European Table Tennis Union, and arrangements for the European Championships (seniors) in Linz, Austria, in October 2024.
