🔥 🏓 The Table Tennis Federation of the Republic of Moldova salutes Vladislav URSU's remarkable performance at the prestigious Singapore Smash 2026, held from 19 February to 1 March!
Ranked #132 in the world, Vladislav entered the competition through qualifying and showed an exceptional level of play, determination and character.
🔹 Round 1 (qualifying)
A dramatic 3-0 win (13-11, 18-16, 13-11) over Australia's Hwan BAE (#73 in the world).
🔹 Round 2 (qualifying)
A clear 3-1 win (9-11, 11-6, 11-4, 11-5) over India's Akash PAL (#104 in the world).
🔹 Round 3 (qualifying)
A hard-fought match against India's Harmeet DESAI (#80 in the world). Trailing 1-2 in sets and 4-8 in the decider, Vladislav came back spectacularly to win 3-2 (11-3, 9-11, 8-11, 11-4, 12-10) and reach the main draw!
🔹 Round of 64
Confirmation of his quality: a comprehensive 3-0 win (15-13, 11-7, 11-7) over Australia's Aditya SAREEN (#60 in the world).
